Colonel Serhiy Kotenko was a Soldier defending his country of Ukraine and was killed in battle on the 9th March 22. This bear was named after him.
This is Serhiy who is made from a light beige mohair which I have plucked, shaded, waxed and added faux stitches to. He is approximately 31/2 inches standing.
Serhiy has blue glass eyes and a stitched, waxed nose. He is fully cotterpin jointed and is stuffed with Kapok, with tiny steel discs in his body for added weight. He comes wearing a blue and yellow sash in the Ukraine colours pinned with a rusty old safety pin which has a bronze coloured "Hope" charm.
