I found Alfie, or rather half of Alf recently in a box of half finished bears I had made many years ago. I gave him some arms and legs, changed his face and finished him off. He is happy to be out of that box and able to wonder around now!
Alf is made of a light golden mohair and has black glass eyes and a stitched, waxed nose and mouth. He is fully cotter pin jointed and stuffed with kapok. He has tiny steel discs in his tummy for a nice heavy feel. I have plucked, shaded and waxed him and added a rusty old bell around his neck.
