Soldier Bear Roland Harbon

Private Roland Harbon was a Soldier during WW1, this bear is named after him.
Roland is 3
inches tall and made of pale gold mohair. He has brown glass eyes, one larger than the other, and has been plucked, shaded and waxed with added faux stitching to give the appearance of a well loved and worn bear. He is fully cotterpin jointed and stuffed with Kapok, used in early bear making. He has steel shavings in his body for added weight and wears a red, white and blue ribbon with a bronze coloured "Hope" charm.
