Henry John Grinnall was in the Navy during WW1 where he sadly died on 28th April 1917. This Soldier bear is named after him.
Henry is 31/2 inches tall  and made from a lovely  vintage scruffy mohair which I have plucked, shaded and waxed for a "well loved" look.He has brown glass eyes and is fully cotter pin jointed. He is stuffed with Kapok and has tiny steel discs in his body for added weight.
Henry comes wearing the colours of a WW1 ribbon as a sash, tied together with a rusty old safety pin with a bronze coloured charm saying Hope.
