Sold
A very lovely friend of mine bought me the old gentleman on the right many years ago. He was sold to her as an original Soldier Bear. He is very old but not sure if a Soldier Bear. It doesn't matter to me as I love him whoever he is. Anyway I decided to make a slightly less worn out bear with ears and eyes in his honour which is little Reg on the left of him.
Reg is made from red short spikey mohair on an apricot background. He has small black glass eyes and a stitched mouth. His head and body are one piece like the original bear and his arms and legs are loosely cotterpin jointed. I have plucked, shaded and waxed him for a "well loved" look. Reg is just under 4 inches tall.
