Private William Harry Beaman was just 21 when he was killed in action during WW1. This little WW1 replica bear is named after him.
He is 31/2 inches tall and made from short red mohair. He has   brown glass eyes  and a stitched waxed nose. He is fully cotter pin jointed and stuffed with kapok,with tiny steel discs in his body for added weight. He wears a red, white and blue striped ribbon tied together with a rusty old safety pin and a bronze charm saying "Peace"
