The Way of the Bear
Shortly we hope to have this book available in a smaller, better quality version with a new cover. I will update when it is out, hopefully before the Dollshouse show so I can bring copies with me.
"The Way of the Bear "by Norman Silver and David Passes is now available to purchase through Amazon. This is a 94 page book of photographs and verse full of my Little Scruffs and suitable for children and grown ups alike. You can purchase it in book form or Kindle.
Norman Silver has a Fellowship with the Royal Photographic Society and I am honoured that he has chosen my bears for his book

I bought this book for my Beautiful Fiancé, Sarah, for Christmas. She has been hinting about this for a while now, since it was mentioned to her in an email from the Teddy Bear maker, Jean Grogan (who is a nice, genuine bear maker/designer) and is who actually made the Bears for this book (although, it does reference this inside the book). The words are inspiring, the photos are funny and also thought-provoking and Sarah just absolutely loves it, as she also collects her bears!
A must for people who love to read and want a pick-me-up with the lovely words. Highly recommended for what is actually an extremely reasonable price. Wisdom indeed.
This book is lovely, really charming. The bears are really cute and the photos are quirky. The text is a gentle set of 'rules' that teddy bears live by, but they are sweet, uplifting and often funny rather than sickening!
If you like Pooh bear's philosophy on life you will love this book, or as another reviewer said, it would be a perfect gift for a friend going through a low patch.

This is Winifred my oldest pupil at almost 78 years old. She was a delightful lady and we had a really nice 2 days. She came away with a lovely little bear and raring to go to make her next one!!

Payment Options
We offer three forms of payment options on our website.
- Paypal (Credit/Debit Cards) - You do not need to have a Paypal account to use this payment method. Paypal is by far the largest and the safest online payment provider and you can be assured that I will never see any credit card details.
- Bank Transfer (UK Banks only)
- Cheque (UK Banks only) - If you are in the United Kingdom you have the option to pay using a cheque.
Shipping Details.
Here at Little Scruffs we supply our bears all over the world using these shipping methods.
As from 3rd April 2023 new prices are as follows:
- Royal Mail Special Delivery (United Kingdom only) which costs £8.15 - This is fully trackable and insured and will arrive with you the following working day before 1pm after the day of shipping. You will be required to sign for your delivery and if you are not available the postman will leave a card with further options for collection/redelivery.
- If you would prefer to just have it sent by Small Parcel "signed for" at a cost of £4.69 for 2nd class or £5.39 for 1st class please email me first. Please be aware that the item will only be insured up to £50 and may not arrive next day.
- International Tracked .Up to 250gms. This is fully tracked with online confirmation of delivery .
- EUROPE Zone 1 (Including Germany) £10.95 Zone 2(including Belgium) £11.25 Zone 3( Including Ukraine) £12.05
- World Zone 1 £13.85 World Zone 2 £15.20 World Zone3 (USA)£15.65. Compensation up to £50 included
- (Extra compensation available up to £250 for an extra £2.50)

Returns
If you are not happy with your bear, email me on receipt and return it within 7 days and I will refund the price less postage. I like all of my customers to be happy with their orders.
Custom Order
I do make custom bears and dogs but please be aware that they do take a lot more time so prices start from £85. If you require this service please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements further.

Please note that all my bears and animals are collectables and contain small parts. They are therefore not suitable for children under 14 years old
