All the bears and animals are designed and handmade by myself in Evesham, Worcestershire in the United Kingdom.
Vintage style miniature mohair teddy bears and dogs. Artist bears and animals are all fully jointed and come boxed with a sewn in Little Scruffs label.
Thank you to my collectors, some who have become very good friends, for allowing me to do what I love most.
I no longer teach miniature bear making courses but can probably put you in touch with other bear making classes that I know of.
I love to know your favourites - traditional bears, Fat Heads, Soldier Bears or cute dogs, giraffes, elephants, rabbits, monkeys, cows etc- so please let me know what you think.

I bought this book for my Beautiful Fiancé, Sarah, for Christmas. She has been hinting about this for a while now, since it was mentioned to her in an email from the Teddy Bear maker, Jean Grogan (who is a nice, genuine bear maker/designer) and is who actually made the Bears for this book (although, it does reference this inside the book). The words are inspiring, the photos are funny and also thought-provoking and Sarah just absolutely loves it, as she also collects her bears!
A must for people who love to read and want a pick-me-up with the lovely words. Highly recommended for what is actually an extremely reasonable price. Wisdom indeed.
This book is lovely, really charming. The bears are really cute and the photos are quirky. The text is a gentle set of 'rules' that teddy bears live by, but they are sweet, uplifting and often funny rather than sickening!
If you like Pooh bear's philosophy on life you will love this book, or as another reviewer said, it would be a perfect gift for a friend going through a low patch.

I have just spent a lovely bear making weekend with Sandra & Catherine. We had such a laugh, they were so nice.
They made 2 sweet little bears that blend in so well with Sandra's old bear and my 2 threadbear bears
This is Winifred my oldest pupil at almost 78 years old. She was a delightful lady and we had a really nice 2 days. She came away with a lovely little bear and raring to go to make her next one!!
