Lt Oscar James Addyman was a Soldier during WW1. This Soldier Bear is named after him.

Oscar is now Sold

Oscar is  approximately  31/2" tall and made from a lovely plumb coloured mohair  He is fully cotter pin jointed  and has been distressed to make him look like he has been through the wars. He has glass eyes in different shades of blue with one pupil larger than the other and a  sparsely stitched nose . He  has been plucked, shaded, waxed and had faux stitching to him.

Oscar is filled with kapok, used in the making of early bears and has steel shot in his body for added weight. he wears a red, white and blue sash held together with a rusty safety pin which has a 'Hope' charm hanging from it.
