I have been working on a Pilot's helmet and this is the first result.Having made Soldier and Sailor bears  I couldn't leave the Air force men out .

This bear is a funny little thing  with quite low ears to accomodate his hat and amber glass eyes. He is made from a spikey mohair  of cream amd grey that has been plucked, shaded and had faux stitching added to him.

I was just trying to tink of a name for this cheeky chappie when my husband pointed out  Eric 'Winkle' Brown, Britains greatest Pilot - job done!!

Winkle is approximately 31/2" tall and filled with kapok, used in the making of early bears and steel shot in his body for added weight
