During World War One many British Soldiers used to be given a little bear by their sweethearts and loved ones. These bears had eyes that were high up on their heads which peeped out of the soldiers' top pockets. This little bear is one of my versions of these bears.

I have left the name blank at the moment in case you would like to name this bear after a loved one or I can name him after one of the Soldiers who was in WW1 if not.

He is  approximately 31/2 inches tall and made from scruffy  two tone mohair on a beige backing and has brown glass eyes and a sparsely stitched nose. He is fully cotterpin jointed and has steel shot in his body for added weight. His head and limbs are firmly stuffed with kapok, used in the making of early bears.

Soldier Bear  comes wearing a bronze coloured peace charm around his neck.

The water bottle and bandage are NOT included but just used as a prop.
